Buildings, roads, and residences on campus are named to honor individuals associated with the history of the Institute. This website provides an introduction to these people and their many contributions.
Under Buildings you will find information on both academic buildings and residence halls. This section is separated into these two categories, with buildings first, to make them easier to locate.
In the Structures section are individual spaces such as auditoriums, galleries and atriums that are also named.
Roadways are just that; the roads that connect each section of the RIT campus. Here you can find out exactly where their names come from.

The Archives & Special Collections is located on the 3rd floor of the Wallace Library and is home to many rare and unique items. The RIT Archives collects, organizes, preserves and displays materials from the Institute's past.
