Edith Woodward Swimming Pool

Edith Woodward, who died in 1955, was an Institute benefactor. She was the widow of Ernest Woodward, an heir to the "Jell-O" fortune. She lived in LeRoy, New York, where the company was located. She was prominent in community affairs and a strong supporter of education. She chose not to publicize her gifts, so the true extent of her philanthropy is known to few.
