Ingle Auditorium

The construction of the Ingle Auditorium was made possible through the generosity of Arthur H. Ingle. Mr. Ingle served as a member of the board of trustees of RIT from 1941-1954. During this time he arranged one of the Institute's unique cooperative employment programs for students in the mechanical engineering program.

In addition to his role at the Institute he was a member of the City Planning Commission, the Civic Improvement Committee, and an influential figure in the creation of the Rochester War Memorial.

The beautiful auditorium is located in the Student Alumni Union and is dedicated to the memories of both his mother, Albenia Elizabeth Ingle and his wife, Maude Dennie Ingle.
